Prodigy Education, leaders in game-based learning, is making sure every single teacher is back to school ready this year, releasing a host of new features to make classroom integration even more seamless while maximizing the fun through its award-winning game-based learning platform.
While teachers have been taking a very well-earned summer break, Prodigy’s product development team has been working away to ensure an even more seamless experience for educators when they come back to classrooms.
- Expanded Clever Partnership: Prodigy’s new Clever Secure Sync rostering integration means districts can now seamlessly create new educator accounts for teachers to more easily leverage Prodigy’s award-winning game-based learning platforms in classrooms at no cost at all. Prodigy already offered Single Sign-on (SSO) and student rostering with Clever Library, with this expansion further deepening its integration and providing increased district-wide visibility and access to Prodigy’s suite of teacher tools.
- Google Classroom Add-On: Standards-aligned Prodigy assignments can now be quickly created by teachers without leaving Google Classroom. Assignments are also presented to students as Google Classroom work—making it even simpler to align Prodigy with what’s being taught in lessons. The Add-on can be installed from the Google Workspace Marketplace for schools and districts subscribed to Google’s Education Plus plan or Google’s Teaching & Learning Upgrade.
- ClassLink single sign on (SSO): We’ve also added ClassLink as one of Prodigy’s SSO providers, providing yet another option for educators and students to quickly and securely log into Prodigy. Stay tuned also for ClassLink Roster Management, which is coming soon!
- NEW zero-cost partnerships: Prodigy partnerships are available at no cost and provide access to professional development services provided by experienced educators, helping teachers learn the basics as well as more advanced tips to maximize the impact of Prodigy in class. On top of all this, we’ve also made significant improvements to our search functionality, making it even easier to find the skills which align with what’s being taught in class. We’ve also simplified reports for educators as well, making it easier to find the information that really matters to guide intervention and coaching. Throughout the year we’ll be enhancing assignment creation and reporting, so stay tuned for future updates. We’ve also added to our library of English questions, adding over 4,000 new questions across 1st-5th grade reading, writing, and language, and developing a suite of questions that focus on 1st and 2nd grade reading foundations.
