At the end of each month, points are awarded based on your leaderboard ranking. Where you land on your state's leaderboard will decide what prize you compete for in the Prodigy National Cup.

Each month we’ll be hosting a State Challenge where schools will compete directly over which can answer the most math questions correctly with Prodigy in their region! How they perform during State Challenge also influences which tier they’ll be competing in for the Prodigy National Cup at the end of the school year, with even more incredible prizes up for grabs!
State Challenge
Each month, all questions answered correctly on Prodigy Math will count towards that month’s State Challenge total for their school.
Prodigy National Cup
All classrooms meeting the entry criteria are automatically opted in to Prodigy State Challenge and the Prodigy National Cup. This includes any classroom with an active teacher account, with other criteria including:
Teachers also have the option to opt-out of the contest if they would prefer, and can do this from within their Teacher Dashboard. Opting out ensures any questions answered will not be counted towards the State Challenge.
